Personal Branding Basics

Whether we know it or not, all of us have a “Personal Brand”. It’s the personality that we communicate to the world, when we’re thinking about it — and when we’re not. The “you” that people encounter on a daily basis affects how others interact with, approach, and work with you. Are you communicating your Personal Brand authentically? Effectively?

 

To convey an authentic Personal Brand, you’ve got to know who you really are. What makes you special? Who are you at your very core? What makes you stand out? It’s a combination of your personal qualities, as well as your values, beliefs, interests, and talents. What is it that makes you, you?

 

It’s time to take a look at who you are at your core and what makes you shine. The earlier you start making decisions based on who YOU are (not how your parent, your spouse, your friends, or your children define you,) the easier it will be to have a life you always wanted.

 

Combinations of characteristics, values, and talents define a human being. As Tina Lifford, actress, author, and inspirational speaker puts it, “When you know yourself, you are empowered.”  We challenge you to take the LEAP in 2016 and create your Personal Brand
